Four killed in Fermanagh crash
Police have released a 19-year-old man who was arrested following a road traffic crash in County Fermanagh at the weekend.
A PSNI spokesperson has confirmed that the man arrested was the driver of the car and was later released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
Four people lost their lives during the incident, which happened Moorlough Road near Lisnaskea, at around 3.30am on Sunday morning.
Six people were in the car at the time of the crash, and police have revealed that the four victims were all back-seat passengers when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
The deceased have been named as 21-year-old Peter Seamus Leonard from Lisnaskea, 21-year-old Jonathan McDonald from Newtownbutler, 16-year-old Anita Swift from Newtownbutler, and 17-year-old Danica Mary O`Rourke from Lisnaskea.
The driver and front seat passenger managed to escape from the wreckage and were taken to the nearby Erne hospital in Enniskillen for treatment for their injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.
Floral tributes have been laid at the scene and both communities of Lisnaskae and Newtownbutler have been left devastated by the deaths.
In a separate incident, a motocyclist has died following a road traffic collision just outside Castlewellan in County Down.
Kieran Dynes, 38, and from Bailiffs Lane, Derrytrasna in Lurgan, died after the motorcycle on which he was travelling, was in collision with a car on the Bann Road between Castlewellan and Banbridge at around 4.30pm yesterday.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed either incident, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
