Police end bog search for missing man's body
Police searching a bog in County Tyrone for the body of a missing man, have terminated the operation, after “nothing of any significance was found.”
Daron Reynolds, 36, from Cookstown, was last seen in November 2001, and due to the lack of any "routine life activity" police are now treating his disappearance as murder.
Detectives from the PSNI's Crime Operations Department and officers from the Search and Rescue unit along with sniffer dogs, moved into the Creggan bog area between Omagh and Cookstown earlier today to commence an extensive search of the area.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have any information which could be relevant to their investigation, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.
