Two released in County Down stabbing probe
Two men arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in County Down at the weekend, have been released without charge.
The attack happened in the South Street area of Newtownards at around 9.30pm on Sunday evening, when a 27-year-old man was stabbed in the throat, ear, and hands.
The victim managed to make his way to a friends house in the Holywood area, where he was subsequently taken to hospital.
Police in County Down ave appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the attack or have any information on those responsible for carrying it out, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Two people have been killed in separate stabbing incidents in Northern Ireland over the weekend. Hugh McKibben, 51, of Main Street in Carrowdore died in a stabbing incident at a house on Inisharoan Court about midnight on Sunday May 5. Four people were arrested following his murder but three have since been released on police bail.

Man Released On Bail Over College Stabbing Incident
A man, 20, who was arrested in connection with a stabbing at a college in Belfast has been released on bail. Police said the man was released pending further enquiries. A 26-year-old is currently in hospital following the incident at Belfast Metropolitan College on Thursday. His condition is described as serious but stable.

Four released over County Antrim stabbing
Four men arrested in connection with the stabbing of a teenager in County Antrim on New Year's Day, have been released without charge. The incident happened at around 4.30am on Monday morning, when the teenager was stabbed in the head while he attended a party in the Aspen Park area of Dunmurray. Four men were arrested shortly after.

Suspected arson attack in County Antrim
Police in County Antrim have appealed for information following a suspected arson attack at the weekend. The incident happened at around 3.45am yesterday morning, when a shed at a property in the Woodside View area of Dunmurry, was set alight. The fire then spread to the house, where the family were asleep inside.

Fatal RTC Victim Named
Police have named a 76-year-old woman who was killed in a crash in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, as Bridget Kelly from the local area. Ms Kelly was a pedestrian involved in a fatal collision with a lorry on the Tempo Road at about 17:00 on Wednesday evening.
