Drugs find in County Armagh

Police in County Armagh have seized a quantity of drugs following a planned police search yesterday evening.

The planned operation was carried out at a premises in the Parkmore area of Craigavon shortly before 11pm last night, when drugs with an potential street value of £14,000 were recovered.

During the raid, officers found a quantity of suspected amphetamines, 68g of suspected cocaine, 1000 suspected ecstasy tablets and 5000 suspected diazepam tablets.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said that an inquiry into the discovery of the drugs is ongoing.

PSNI Officers To Continue To Use Spit and Bite Guards
All serving police officers are to be issued with Spit and Bite Guards for the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic. The guards were first introduced in March 2020 to COVID19 Response Teams, Custody Staff, Armed Response Unit and Cell Van Crews.

Man Injured In Craigavon Explosion
An investigation has been launched following an explosion in Craigavon. According to reports a man is being treated in hospital for injuries to his hands and chest after a device is said to have "partially exploded". A number of homes were evacuated in the Enniskeen area on Tuesday evening while army bomb experts investigated the scene.
