Boy killed in County Down road crash

A 16-year-old schoolboy has been killed in a road crash on the coast road between Ballyhalbert and Portavogie.

The crash, which is understood to have involved only one vehicle, occured at around 10.00am.

Four people were injured in the crash. The condition of one of those injured is said to be critical, two are in a serious condition, one is said to have injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

A man has died in a collision in Co Antrim. The crash happened on the Tornagrough Road in Hannahstown just before 8am on Wednesday, 27 September. Police are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and identify all of the vehicles involved. The PSNI are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
