Man dies in County Antrim collision
A former gaelic footballer has died during a road traffic collision in County Antrim earlier today.
Sean Paul O'Hagan, 26, from Glenravel Road, in Cargan near Ballymena, was killed when the car in which he was travelling, left the Glenravel Road at around 3am this morning.
Four other people, two men and two women believed to be in their 20s, were also taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.
One of the women is said to be in a serious condition.
Commenting on the death, SDLP councillor Declan O'Loan said: "Yet another young person has lost his life in a terrible road accident.
"Sean Paul was well known in the Glenravel area and was a very popular and respected young man. He was very involved in sport especially the local gaelic club.
"The whole neighbourhood feels this very deeply. I extend my sympathy to his family who are obviously deeply shocked at this time."
