Items stolen in County Tyrone robbery

Police in County Tyrone have appealed for information following a robbery at the Parochial House during which a number of valuable items were stolen.

The incident happened between the evening of Thursday December 28 and early on Friday December 29, when an amount of Tyrone and Waterford Crystal, a number of electrical items and a box containing six DV tapes with home cinema footage was stolen.

The items, especially the cinema footage is of great sentimental value to the owner and police have requested that the items be returned.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery, or who may have any information in connection with it, should contact detectives in County Tyrone on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Number Of 'Suspicious Items' Removed From Milltown Cemetery
A number of "suspicious" items have been removed from Milltown Cemetery in Belfast. It is understood that police attended the cemetery in West Belfast following reports of a "number of suspicious items". Police confirmed that officers attended and have taken a number of items away for examination. Investigations are ongoing.

Number Of Items Found During East Belfast Security Alert
A number of items have been found during a security alert in east Belfast. Residents had to be evacuated from their homes as police sealed off part of Grand Parade on Wednesday evening, 08 November. Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene and removed a number objects. They have been taken away for further forensic examination.

Number Of Items Recovered In Connection With £280k Cannabis Find
A number of items have been recovered by police in connection with a £280,000 cannabis find in August this year. The items were seized during the search of a property in the Antrim Road area in north Belfast on Monday, 19 September.
