Bomb defused at Stormont building
A bomb at the Stormont headquarters of Northern Ireland's Department of Agriculture has been defused.
British army technical officers dealt with what has been described by police as a “crude, anti-personnel-type device” at Dundonald House in Stormont.
Army technical officers also removed a number of other items from the scene for further examination.
The government building was not evacuated as police managed to isolate the bomb. Police have not yet said who they believe planted today’s device.
The bomb was defused as the Irish Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and the British Prime Minister Tony Blair held talks in London to discuss how to deal with the problems in the peace process.
Before the Downing Street meeting, Mr Ahern held talks with the Ulster Unionist leader, David Trimble.
Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness said today’s Blair/Ahern discussions at Downing Street could be “the most important meeting of the entire peace process”.

Man Arrested In Connection With 1992 Police Officer Murder
A 59-year-old man has been arrested at Birmingham Airport in connection with a fatal mortar attack in Newry in 1992. The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 February by detectives from PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch, investigating the murder of Constable Colleen McMurray and the attempted murder of her colleague in 1992.

Appeal Following Petrol Bomb Attack In Banbridge
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a petrol bomb attack in Banbridge, in the early hours of Tuesday 19th March. It was reported that at around 2.10am on Tuesday morning, two petrol bombs were thrown at the back wall of a house in the Castlewellan Road area, causing scorch damage to the wall and a window frame.
