Man dies in road traffic incident in Fermanagh

A 47-year old man has died after the car he was driving crashed into a tree at around 3am yesterday on the Wattlebridge Road in Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh.

Police have not released any further details at this time.

His death follows an incident which occurred on Friday evening in County Tyrone.

One man was killed and another injured when two cars collided on the Gillygooley Road at Drumquin near Omagh at about 9.15pm.

The driver of the other car was taken to hospital, however his injuries are not thought to be serious.

Man Dies In Workplace Accident In Co Armagh
A man has died in a workplace accident in Co Armagh. It is believed the man was crushed by a road roller while a new road surface was being laid on the Bog Road, Forkhill, on Wednesday, 31 May. Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched an investigation.
