Digiweb To Create 200 New Jobs

Broadband provider Digiweb is to create 200 new jobs at its new technology centre in Blanchardstown.

The company said it has completed a national network rollout and the new centre will be the base for a 4G mobile broadband network.

The expansion will see the company increase employment well beyond its current workforce of 200 people.

The 200 workers will be mainly employed at Digiweb's new Blanchardstown data centre and network operations centre.

Digiweb said it is in the process of rolling out further fibre infrastructure as well as a countrywide wireless network that it has dubbed "4G network."

It is understood that at least 80 of the jobs will be filled straight away by project managers, IP engineers and network managers.
