Streisand announces first Irish gig

Barbara Streisand has announced she will be performing for the first ever time in Ireland.

Streisand, who received rave reviews for her US tour, will be performing live at Castletown House in Dublin on Saturday 14 July 2007.

The concert will be part of a European tour, which her many fans have been eagerly anticipating for years.

The concerts announced today in Austria, France, Ireland and the UK follow on from her record-breaking US tour last autumn.

“What a joy it will be to perform in so many wonderful countries for the first time,” Streisand said.

“I can’t wait to experience these different audiences and different cultures.”

Tickets start at 118.50 Euro and are on sale on Friday 11 May at 9am.
