Series of burglaries in Donaghadee
Police in County Down are appealing for information after a series of burglaries took place in the early hours of Friday morning.
Four properties were entered some time between 2:30am and 3:30am. All of the houses in the Warren Road area of Donaghadee were occupied at the time, however there were no confrontations with the intruders and no reported injuries.
An unknown number of burglars entered the homes through forced windows.
Two cars were stolen as well as a number of valuable items.
Detectives have asked for witnesses who may have information to contact them on: 0845 600 8000 or on the confidential Crimestopper line: 0800 555 111.

Thieves Steal Car In 'Creeper' Burglary
The PSNI has said a car has been stolen in a 'creeper' burglary in Limavady, County L'Derry. The silver Volvo S60 was stolen at some time before Friday morning, before it was discovered by a man living at a house on Seacoast Road. It is thought the thieves gained access to a utility room and stole the car keys.

North Belfast Woman Injured As Masked Gang Burgle Home
A woman has been injured in an aggravated burglary in north Belfast. It was reported that four masked men entered her home in Chestnut Gardens off the Cliftonville Road at a round 7pm on Wednesday 30 January. The 39-year-old woman was injured on the right side of her face as her property was ransacked and a number of items were stolen.

House-building activity in Northern Ireland decreased during the fourth quarter of 2003, according to the latest statistic from the National House-Building Council (NHBC). NHBC figures for the province reveal that a total of 2,094 applications were made to start new homes during the quarter, a decrease of 19% on the same period in 2002.

Appeal For Information On Burglary In Lisburn
PSNI detectives in Lisburn have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following the report of a burglary at a property in the area. Police received a report that sometime after 4.30pm and before 9pm on Thursday, 1st December, a sum of cash was taken from a property in the Alanbrooke Avenue area.
