New travel agency set for International Airport
Belfast International Airport (BIA) has announced the arrival of McNeill Menary Travel to its main departure lounge in a £50,000 investment by the travel agency.
The new branch will provide the full range of business and leisure travel services to the airport and is part of BIA's ongoing £3 million terminal development programme, which commenced in July this year.
Commenting on the deal, Albert Harrison, Managing Director Belfast International Airport, said: "We are delighted to welcome McNeill Menary Travel on board and look forward to a long and successful relationship with them. The terminal’s recently unveiled new facilities, and indeed those which will be completed in the coming few months, underlines TBI’s (the airport's parent company) ongoing commitment to providing a convenient, comfortable and relaxing environment for all our passengers."
Stuart Knox, Managing Director of McNeill Menary Travel, added: “This is an exciting time for us with the launch of our new brand name, McNeill Menary, and of our new branch here at Belfast International. As part of BIA’s major terminal development programme we feel the branch will thrive, providing a full range of travel services for the 3.5 million passengers who travel through Belfast International each year.”
McNeill Menary Travel is the newly launched brand of McNeill Rigby Travel, which employs 50 staff in Northern Ireland. The new BIA branch employs six new staff and will supplement customers who book through other branches and through the company’s specialist websites, Fly2theSun.com and SkiMcNeill.com.
Passengers will also be able to book tickets for low-cost airlines such as easyJet, bmi baby and MyTravelLite online.
