Mother and daughter buried in Donegal
The funerals of the mother and daughter found dead in their County Donegal home have taken place today in Bundoran.
Catriona Innes, 26, and her seven-year-old daughter Katelyn were found dead in their home in the quiet Gortlee Estate in Letterkenny on Tuesday, the day before the girl was due to celebrate her eighth birthday.
Deputy State pathologist Dr Michael Curtis at Letterkenny General Hospital carried out post-mortems on the pair. Police, however, have not released the full details.
Police discovered the bodies when they broke into the house on Tuesday. Neighbours had raised concerns about the mother and daughter.

Mother and daughter found dead in Carryduff
The bodies of a mother and her daughter have been found at their Carryduff home outside Belfast. Madeleine and nine-year-old Laura O'Neill were found dead by a friend just before midnight on Tuesday. The police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.

A six-year-old girl is recovering in hospital from serious injuries after being attacked by two rottweilers at a holiday home at Dervock, near Ballymoney in County Antrim. Sophia Kimpton needed plastic surgery at the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald, for multiple injuries to her head, arms and back.

Police are concerned for the welfare of a mother and daughter who were last seen in south Belfast. Petia Fleming and her eight-year-old daughter Rhianna were seen in the Newtownbreda area on Wednesday morning. Petia is described as around 5ft 4inches in height, of slim build and with collar-length blond hair.

Fatal Fire Treated As Arson
Police have said they believe that a fire which killed two women in County Tyrone at the weekend was started deliberately. Elizabeth McGirr, 71, and her daughter, Deirdre, 38, died in the blaze at Dunlea Vale, Dungannon, at about 10pm on Saturday.
