Dublin shooting victim in ‘critical condition’

A man in his 20s is in critical condition in hospital following a shooting incident in Dublin.

The victim had been sitting in his car in front of a shopping area on Lakelands Road in Stillorgan when he was shot in the head.

He was then thrown out of the car.

Two men were also in the vehicle at the time of the attack.

A car was later found, burned out in the Dargle Wood in Knocklyon, south Dublin.

A gun and a quantity of cannabis was also recovered.

Two men are currently being questioned in relation to the attack, which is understood to be linked to a feud between two trafficking gangs.
