Police re-issue murder appeal

Detectives have re-issued an appeal for information about the murder of Antrim man, Martin Morgan.

The 41-year-old was murdered in his home in Firmount Drive, in Antrim's Greystone estate, last Saturday.

Morgan had served a jail sentence for drug offences but his mother said he had "moved on" from his previous lifestyle and was prepared to return to work as a lorry driver.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Nicholl said: "We are keen to find out more about Mr Morgan's movements on Friday night/Saturday morning and would urge anyone who was in his company at any sage between 7pm on Friday and the early hours of Saturday morning to contact us."

The police would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen the victims white Toyota Corolla, registration number JBZ 8258, in Antrim town or in the Greystone or Ballycraigy areas.
