£5,000 worth of damage to primary school
Detectives in west Belfast are appealing for information after a school in the area was damaged.
It is estimated around £5,000 worth of destruction was caused when windows of numerous classrooms were broken at St John the Baptist Primary School on Finaghy Road North.
A PSNI spokesman said police believe the incident occurred between Friday 6 July and the early hours of this morning.
An appeal has been issued for members of the public to report any suspicious behaviour around school grounds during the summer, and warned that these sort of attacks are “particularly prevalent during this holiday period.”

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, as the snow is continuing to affect many roads. Areas which have been majorly disrupted include Lisburn, Castlereagh and Carryduff.
