Missing Diver's Body Found Off Horn Head

The body off a British police constable who went missing following a dive at Horn Head off the County Donegal coast on Sunday afternoon has been recovered.

Paul Jackson, 49, was a constable with Humberside Police and had been on holiday in Donegal with friends.

He was one of a group of people who were deep sea diving of Horn Head on Sunday afternoon, but he failed to resurface.

A search team discovered his body on Monday afternoon.

The search operation involved two lifeboats, two helicopters and other vessels.

The PSNI and Health & Social Care Board (HSCB) have launched a joint campaign to reduce the number of patients being reported missing from Emergency Departments (ED). Man Assaulted In East Belfast
A man has been assaulted by three men in east Belfast. The attack happened in the Paxton Street area last Friday, 26 November. The men made off with his wallet which contained a sum of cash. Police have declared a device at the centre of a security alert in Loughguile, County Antrim on Sunday morning as a "small but viable pipe bomb". Police received a report of a suspicious object in Tullyviewm off the Corkey Road at about 8:50am on Sunday 16 January.
