100 New Jobs To Be Created At Sprucefield

Toys R Us is to open its third store in Northern Ireland at Sprucefield Shopping Centre in Lisburn.

The opening of the new store, which will cover an area of 30,000 square feet, will create up to 100 new jobs at the County Antrim complex.

The company opened its first store in Belfast ten years ago and another store was opened in Londonderry last year.

Toys R Us said that the opening of the third store in Northern Ireland reflects the confidence they have in the country.

Marketing Director Mike Coogan said that the new store is the most modern of all their stores.
