Fisher-Price Recall Toys On Paint Scare
Fisher-Price is recalling more than 22,000 toys that have been on sale in Ireland since May.
Consumers have been warned that if they have any Fisher-Price products in their home they should stop using them immediately and contact the Fisher-Price UK consumer helpline on 00-44-1628-500303.
Some of the toys being recalled by Fisher-Price are Dora The Explorer and Diego products as well as some toy music machines.
Worldwide, 1.5 million toys are being recalled by Fisher-Price’s parent company, Mattel.
According to Mattel, a contract manufacturer in China made the toys using a non-approved paint pigment.
No injuries have been caused so far but the company are urging parents to contact them to arrange for the toys to be returned and replaced with toys of equal value.

2,144 People Seen In Neurology Patient Recall
The Department of Health and consultant neurologist Dr John Craig have presented an update to elected representatives on the recall of neurology patients by Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. The Department also gave the position on the numbers of patients reviewed, collated by the Health and Social Care Board and Public Health Agency.

The SDLP has raised serious concerns following the announcement that over 100 jobs are at risk in Northern Ireland after Toys R Us entered administration. Daniel McCrossan MLA and Mark H Durkan met with staff in L'Derry on Wednesday to advise them on what to do next.

Over 100 Jobs In NI At Risk As Toys R Us Enters Administration
Over 100 jobs in Northern Ireland are at risk after retailer Toys R Us has entered into administration. Administrator Moorfields has been appointed to carry out a "wind-down" of the 105 store portfolio across the UK, however the firm said it is still seeking a buyer. In total around 5,700 jobs are at risk in the UK.
