One Killed Five Injured In Garvagh Crash
One man has died and five people have been injured following a collision involving three vehicles on the Edenbane Road at Garvagh, County Derry.
The man who died in the crash has been named as Ronnie Cochrane, 56, from the Hillmount area of Garvagh.
Three vehicles were involved in the incident, which happened shortly before 10.50pm on Friday night.
Two people are in a serious condition in hospital and a police spokesperson said that the injuries sustained by the three other people are not thought to be life threatening.
Local DUP councillor Sam Cole said Mr Cochrane would be sadly missed and was well known for his work within the pipe band fraternity.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash.

Three People Injured In Crash On Westlink
Three people are receiving hospital treatment following a six-vehicle collision on the Westlink in Belfast. The crash, which involved two lorries and four other vehicles, occurred at around 4am on Wednesday. The Westlink was closed , however the vehicles have been removed and it has been reopened.

Three people from Northern Ireland have lost their lives in a two-vehicle collision in the Republic of Ireland. Gardai have charged a man in his 20s following the crash on the N1 Carrickcarnan in Dundalk shortly after 2pm on Saturday 29 February. A mother and son from Co Armagh and a young footballer from Newry were killed in the incident.

Three Young People Knocked Down In Belfast Crash
Three young people have been knocked down at a roundabout on the Ormeau Road in Belfast. Police and four ambulance crews attended the scene near Rosetta Park during rush hour this morning, Tuesday 20 November. A rapid response paramedic was also tasked to the incident.

Three People Dead In House Fire In Co Fermanagh
At least three people have died in a house fire in Co Fermanagh. Emergency services were called to the blaze in the Molly Road area of Derrylin on Tuesday morning, 27 February. The fire has been extinguished and investigations are ongoing. The public have been advised to avoid the area.
