Stabbing Attack Leaves Man Critically Ill
Police have launched an investigation after a 65-year-old greengrocer was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver in west Belfast.
The incident took place just before midnight on Tuesday night in Norfolk Drive.
The man, who has been named in reports as Harry Holland, is reported to be critically ill in hospital.
According to reports, he had been trying to prevent his van, which was parked in his driveway, from being stolen.
Four teenagers - two boys and two girls - have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in police custody.
No further details are available at this time.

Murder inquiry launched after Markets body find
A murder inquiry has been launched after the body of a man was discovered in a flat in the Markets area of Belfast. Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man Released On Bail Over College Stabbing Incident
A man, 20, who was arrested in connection with a stabbing at a college in Belfast has been released on bail. Police said the man was released pending further enquiries. A 26-year-old is currently in hospital following the incident at Belfast Metropolitan College on Thursday. His condition is described as serious but stable.

Man accused of sword attack released on bail
A man accused of attempting to murder two men in Newry with a samurai sword has been released on bail. Mark McNulty, 22, of Canal Street in Newry, was accused of stabbing the two men with a sword, as well as threatening to kill a third man, during the alleged incident in the Co Down city last month.

Two men die in separate stabbing incidents
Two people have been killed in separate stabbing incidents in Northern Ireland over the weekend. Hugh McKibben, 51, of Main Street in Carrowdore died in a stabbing incident at a house on Inisharoan Court about midnight on Sunday May 5. Four people were arrested following his murder but three have since been released on police bail.
