Lorry Set Ablaze To Cover Tracks
A lorry driver whose unusual reaction caused traffic chaos when he suffering a flat tyre is now being sought by police in County Down.
The driver, who is thought to have been carrying illegal fuel, set fire to the lorry after the incident and disappeared.
Sniffer dogs were brought in by police to try to trace the driver of the dummy cattle lorry which he allegedly torched.
The blaze led to the closure of the road at the Ballymacbrennan crossroads during rush hour with reports of long traffic tailbacks.

Lorry Overturns In Co Tyrone
A lorry has crashed and overturned in Co Tyrone. It is understood the cement lorry crashed into a graveyard at St Mark's church. Police have said the Crossowen Road, between Augher and Clogher, is closed in both directions. The driver of the vehicle has been taken to hospital for treatment. It is understood his injuries are not life-threatening.

Couple Die In Omagh Crash
A couple, aged in their 70s, have died in a crash in Omagh. The collision, between a car and a lorry, happened on the Doogary Road just before 3pm on Monday, 03 September. The man and woman died at the scene of the crash. The lorry driver was not injured.

A man has died in a collision in Crumlin, Co Antrim. The crash, which involved a car and a lorry, happened on the Manse Road, at its junction with Nutts Corner, at around 10.50am on Monday, 10 April. The victim, aged in his 20s, was the driver of an Audi car. The lorry driver was not injured. The road has been reopened.

Runaway lorry crashes into house
A runaway lorry has crashed into a house in Co Down on Wednesday. The incident occurred on Main Street in Crossgar as the lorry driver was making a delivery. The Dutch registered articulated lorry was parked on an incline at Mary's Lane just off Crossgar's Main Street when it began rolling down the street before crashing into the house.

Police have renewed an appeal for information on a fatal road traffic collision on the Glenshane Pass. A 30-year-old man died when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a tanker lorry near the Ponderosa bar between Dungiven and Maghera at 05:20 on Monday 09 August.
