A man is being treated in hospital after being rescued from a burning car in Bangor on Monday night.
The police were called to Ballyree Drive in the Bloomfield Estate just before 11pm.
It is understood detectives are investigating the possibility that the man may have deliberately set the car alight while he was inside it.
A police spokesman would not confirm this, but did say that a crime is not suspected.
