Rain Chaos For NI Roads

Torrential, heavy rainfall has brought severe flooding across many parts of Northern Ireland.

This in turn has led to treacherous driving conditions on many roads.

The Met Office has already posted warnings of severe weather across roads in counties Antrim, Down, Armagh and Fermanagh, which have been particularly affected.

The main A1 road between Newry and Belfast is flooded at many points.

Things are particularly bad north bound at Banbridge and the Hillhall Road in Lisburn.

There are also reports of flooding between Greyabbey and Portaferry in County Down and Donaghmore and Dungannon in County Tyrone.
