Motorist Dies In Collision
A man has been killed in a serious road traffic collision in County Londonderry.
The crash, which occurred at around 7am near the junction of the Glenshane Road and the Claudy road, involved a lorry and a car.
The man who was killed was the driver of the car. His name has not yet been released.
The lorry driver is being treated for his injuries.
Due to the crash the main road is closed and traffic has been diverted through Claudy village.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on Banbridge Road, Gilford on Saturday 9th March. Just after 10.50pm, it was reported that two vehicles had collided on the road between Lawrencetown and Gilford.

Police officers investigating a two-vehicle road traffic collision in west Belfast have issued an appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage On 10 January officers received a report of a collision involving a car and motorcycle at approximately 5.30pm at the junction of Divis Street and Westlink on-slip, in the city-bound lanes.
