Police appeal after violent assaults
A 49-year-old man has been assaulted by a number of men at his home in Lisburn in the early hours of this morning.
At around 12.50am three masked men forced their way into the Manor Park home of the victim and assaulted him with baseball bats as he lay in bed. The assailants also caused damage to the interior of the house and a number of other items.
Police have also issued an appeal for information after a man was savagely beaten and then slashed with a knife in Antrim last Friday.
The attack happened at around 9.30pm when the victim was set upon by a group of about nine to 10 people in the Rathmore Gardens area of the town.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Elsewhere, three men, aged 49, 34 and 28, have appeared before a special court in Ballymena yesterday charged with possession and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
The charges relate to the seizure of £60,000 of herbal cannabis in Coleraine on August 25. A significant amount of cash was also recovered in a follow-up search.

Murder Charge Follows Omagh Stabbing
A woman has been charged with the murder of a 37-year-old man in Co Tyrone. The victim was stabbed in a flat on Hospital Road in the Omagh shortly after 3am on Monday. The 36-year-old woman is due to appear at Strabane Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.

PSNI Name Kilkeel Murder Victim As Bobbie McKee
The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have named the man who was murdered in Kilkeel on Thursday, 21st March as Bobbie McKee. Mr McKee, who was 69-years-old, was pronounced dead after his body was located in a property in the Newcastle Road area last Thursday afternoon following a report of a concern for safety for a couple.

Arrests Made At Traffic Collision Following L'Derry Burglary
Police responding to a road traffic collision in L'Derry last night, Wednesday 20 March, arrested two men in connection with an earlier burglary in the area. At 23:55 last night, police received a report of a collision on Gortinure Road involving a black Audi TT. The vehicle was found abandoned in a ditch.
