Man dies in road accident
A 21-year-old man has died following a collision in west Belfast last night.
The man has been named as Sean Linehan, from Willowvale Avenue in the city.
It is believed his car was in collision with a cement mixer lorry at around 5pm. Two other people in Mr Linehan's car were injured.
Police at Dunmurry have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them on 90 650 222 or on the Crimestoppers line 0800 555 111.
Elsewhere, an 11-year-old boy was injured in a hit-and-run incident in north Belfast last night. He was struck at the junction of Century Street and the Crumlin Road at 10.20pm.
A 17-year-old youth, who was arrested shortly after the incident, has since been released pending further inquiries.

Woman Killed Following Crash On A2
A woman has been killed in a car crash on the Bangor to Belfast Road on Friday, 10 November. The collision happened on the A2 at Ballygilbert after 3pm. A child was also critically injured and is being treated in hospital. Another man involved was treated in hospital, however he has been discharged. The road has since been re-opened.

A man aged in his 70s has died in a car crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened at Gardiners Cross Road near Tempo on Sunday, 19 June. Diversions were put in place at the time of the crash, however the road has been re-opened. A post-mortem is to be carried out to determine the cause of death.

Man Shot In Legs In Co Armagh
A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh. A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs. The incident happened on Thursday night. The 26-year-old man has is being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dromara Assault
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of an assault at licenced premises at the Rathfriland Road area of Dromara. Detective Inspector Bell said: "Shortly before 10:10pm on Friday 15th December, it was reported that an altercation occurred at a bar in the area following three men refused entry to the premises.
