Buffy treat for Ulster fans
A special event is being held in Belfast this September for fans of TV show, 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer'.
Uncharted Territories, which is organising the event, is set to present the first ever Buffy the Vampire Slayer convention in Northern Ireland called 'The Crimelords of Sunnydale'.
The organisers have secured the appearances of Buffy cast members, Danny Strong, Adam Busch and Tom Lenk, better known as the Evil Trio – Jonathan, Warren and Andrew – who where the villans of the last season shown on SkyOne.
This is the first time an event like this has ever taken place in Northern Ireland.
The event will be held in the Park Avenue hotel in Belfast on Saturday September 28, starting from 9am through to midnight and the schedule will include autograph sessions, photo shoots, guest talks, a big prize draw, a fancy-dress competition and a vampire ball.
Uncharted Territories began last year as a group of fans who wanted to organise special events for fans of sci-fi and fantasy television shows and films.
Last year they brought Vaughn Armstrong from 'Startrek: Enterprise' and Virginia Hey from 'Farscape' to Ireland to meet their fans. Already this year they have had Andrew Robinson of 'Startrek: DS9', 'Hellraiser' and 'Dirty Harry' fame appear in Belfast signing autographs and giving a talk about his career.
Tickets for the Buffy event are £30 for an adult and £20 for under-12s.
