Two women killed in rush-hour collision
An investigation has been launched into an accident in which two young women were killed as the result of a collision the M1 motorway on Wednesday.
The two killed have been identified as Leigh Creaney (19) from Glenavon Lane, Lurgan and Laura Robinson (19) from Drumanphy Road, Portadown.
The accident occurred during rush-hour traffic on the country bound stretch of motorway between Lurgan and Moira at around 5pm.
The two women were killed when the Renault Clio car in which they were travelling was involved in a collision with a Land Rover Discovery.
A third woman who was driving the Land Rover was taken to hospital where her condition was described as serious.
The motorway was closed on the country bound section and the city bound side experienced three-hour tailbacks as debris was cleared from the carriageway.

NI bound plane in collision probe
An investigation has been launched after a Belfast bound plane collided with another aircraft at Manchester Airport on Thursday. No one was injured in the accident after the BMI Baby Boeing 737 travelling to Belfast International and an Excel Airways Boeing 767 travelling to Goa hit each other on the runway outside Terminal Two.

Westlink Collision Causes Major Delays Across Belfast
There are ongoing, severe delays in Belfast following a two-car collision on the Westlink earlier this morning, 01 March. According to reports the collision, which occurred shortly before 8.30am, involved a car and a lorry and blocked the outside lane of the Westlink heading country bound towards the M1, just before Divis Street off-slip.

Man arrested after M1 drugs find
Police and the PSNI drug squad have seized a substantial quantity of ecstasy tablets during an operation on the M1 motorway yesterday evening. Shortly before 11.30pm, officers stopped a car on the M1 country bound – close to Broadway, and following a search of the vehicle, recovered several thousand ecstasy tablets.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
