Workthing and CWJobs form distribution partnership

Online recruitment solutions provider Workthing has announced a distribution partnership deal with the IT specialist jobs board CWJobs.co.uk.

The deal will allow both Workthing's IT jobseekers and CWJobs's customers to reap the benefits of the predicted recovery in the IT jobs market.

Since its launch Workthing has developed its IT Channel to become the most visited sector on the site. The partnership will further enhance the IT users' experience by providing Workthing with up to an additional 7000 new IT jobs every week.

The jobs will appear alongside Workthing's IT career path editorial content.

The partnership will benefit CWJobs and its customers by providing increased response to their vacancies via exposure to Workthing's IT audience.

Harjinder Singh-Heer, Director of Business Development for Workthing said: "We have been very keen to develop our IT offering for a long time and the partnership with CWJobs marks a significant step forward for us. Our aim is to provide candidates within the IT industry with access to the best jobs, advice and tools to empower them to develop their careers and to prove Workthing's potency to recruiters in this market."

Nigel Sterndale, Publisher of CWJobs.co.uk said: "This is a crucial time for the IT jobs market. We are preparing for the recovery by using the time to build strategic relationships that will give enhanced value to our Customers and Users. By combining the specialist jobs' database from CWJobs with Workthing's quality users, we have created a powerful new offering. It builds on the success of similar deals done with The Register and Yahoo."
