Abduction Charges Over Dungannon Teen's Disappearance

The three people who are facing abduction charges following the return of a missing Co Tyrone teenager yesterday have been identified as close relatives of the victim.

The father, uncle and aunt of the schoolboy have appeared in court charged with his abduction.

Tyrone McFall, 14, had been missing since November. Police found him on Tuesday at his uncle's Dungannon home.

Shane McFall, his wife Tanya and Tyrone's father, Damien McFall, denied the charges at court in Dungannon.

The men were refused bail. Mrs McFall was granted bail on the condition she does not approach any witnesses or contact the boy.

Tyrone was discovered by police officers during searches in Dungannon on Tuesday after going missing last year.

The Co Tyrone youth was initially reported missing last November but was only found - safe and well - this week.

The news was revealed yesterday morning by PSNI Inspector Stephen Moneypenny.

Speaking on BBC Radio Ulster he said that arrests had been made in connection with the boy's disappearance, which was originally made public in a pre-Christmas media appeal seeking the public's assistance to find help find the boy.

He explained that the police in Dungannon had since made a renewed appeal for information about the boy - just over 10 days ago - as he had then been missing for more than a month.
