Stena launches VIP service for ferry passengers

Northern Ireland ferry passengers can now cross the Irish Sea in unprecedented luxury thanks to a new VIP service from leading ferry company Stena Line.

Stena Line's new STENA PLUS service is already proving a hit with customers. For just £10 extra per person per sailing, Stena Plus offers passengers a range of VIP services which include:

  • priority boarding and disembarkation

  • a designated Stena Plus lounge with leather seats and recliners

  • panoramic views of the Irish Sea from the back of the Stena HSS

  • complimentary refreshments, fruits and pastries

  • waiter service throughout the crossing

  • workstations with table lamps and PC powerpoints for business travellers

  • special new Stena Plus menu available

  • complimentary newspapers and magazines

Stena Line's Head of Marketing Paul Grant believes that the new service is second to none, he said: "We believe that Stena Plus is the best business and VIP service available to the travelling public in Northern Ireland.

"Stena Plus offers customers a means of ferry travel that would have been beyond their wildest dreams a decade ago and already we've had really positive feedback from passengers who like to travel in style.

"We are delighted that our car and passenger figures have increased during the first quarter of this year and we're sure that our Stena Plus service will encourage even more people to travel on the Stena HSS."

The new Stena Plus lounge is the highlight of a recent £3million refit undertaken by Stena Line to improve all aspects of the Stena HSS service.

Other new additions include a new Quiet Lounge at the rear of the vessel, a brand new Kids Cinema and Video Warp packed with the latest video games, and the new improved Cupacabana Coffee Shop which now offers a faster service and an enhanced range of healthy products.
