Aussie Star Signs-up For Belfast Movie

The Australian actress and wife-in-waiting of iconic comic actor Sacha Baron Cohen is coming to Belfast.

Isla Fisher (pictured) is said to have signed up to appear in the forthcoming multi-million dollar film, Your Highness.

The former Home and Away star agreed to appear in the film, which will be shot at the city's Titanic Quarter movie sound stage in the former shipyard's Paint Hall. She recently played the lead role in Confessions of a Shopaholic, based on the novels by Sophie Kinsella and because her career has taken off so dramatically, she is also reported to have had to put her wedding to comedy actor Sacha Baron Cohen on hold so she can take up the new role in Your Highness.

Universal Pictures is funding the comedy, described as a "tale of two spoiled and arrogant princes in a medieval fantasy setting".

James Franco, who starred in Spiderman, will play one of the princes.

Danny McBride, who wrote the script with Ben Best, plays the other prince.

The two princes must complete a quest to save the kingdom.

Meanwhile, Sacha's new movie, Bruno, has already premiered in London earlier this month.
