Lady Dixon Park Hijacking

Police in Belfast have appeal for information after a woman was forced to hand over her car in the south of the city, last night.

The woman was approached by two men in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park; they were carrying a hammer and a screwdriver.

Police said the incident happened at around 8.30pm. After she handed over her Ford Focus, the robbers sped off.

The car was recovered a short time later on Bryanswell Road in Dunmurry.

Two men were seen running from the vehicle towards the Ardkeen area. Detectives have asked anyone, who man have witnessed the attack, or know the attackers, to contact them.

A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Four people have been arrested in connection with an under-car bomb attack on a police officer in L'Derry. The device was placed under the officer's vehicle in Eglinton on 18 June 2015. The arrests were made in Belfast, L'Derry and Pomeroy.

Investigation Launched Following Fatal Crash In Co Antrim
Police have launched an investigation following a fatal crash in Co Antrim. The collision, between a bus and a car, happened in Randalstown at around 2.45pm on Sunday, 11 February. A 58-year-old woman died as a result of injuries she sustained in the incident. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Woman Sexually Assaulted In Omagh
Police have appealed for information after a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Omagh. The attack is thought to have happened in a walkway in the Johnston Park area between 1am and 3am on Sunday (30 November). Detectives want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may be able to assist the investigation.
