Woman Mugged In West Midland
A woman has been attacked by two men during a robbery in Selly Oak.
She was assaulted, and suffered a bump to the head, during the incident on Shenley Fields Road on Tuesday.
The 58-year-old was getting out of her car at around 6.55pm when two men approached her and attacked her.
They searched her and her car before escaping with cash and personal items.
Police said the woman was "very distressed" by the incident, but was not seriously injured.
The offenders are described as being in their early 20s and were either black or Asian.
The first man was of stocky or medium build and was 5'6" - 5'7" tall. He was wearing a green khaki parka style coat and a dark woolly hat. The second man was possibly wearing a black coat.
The men may well have followed the victim to the scene in a 'post-box' red coloured small sports car with a black soft top, and they made off in the same vehicle.
Police have appealed for information.

Disabled Woman Found Dead In Car
A disabled woman found stabbed to death in her car near her home in Harlow, Essex, has been named. Jennifer Macaree was discovered in Hadley Grange on the outskirts of Harlow early on Saturday. Essex Police confirmed she was in the driver's seat of her black Vauxhall Corsa in a parking area near her flat shortly after 3am.

Baby Snatch Attempt Foiled By Mother
A mother has successfully fought off a man and a woman who attempted to snatch her baby daughter from her pram in Leigh, Greater Manchester. Shortly after 8pm on Sunday 12 August 2007, the 30-year-old mother was pushing a pram with her four-month-old daughter along Wigan Road, close to the Hulme Road junction.

A woman has been dragged from her vehicle and raped in a car park in Manchester, police have said. The victim, who is in her late 20s, was parked in a John Lewis car park on 28 August in Cheadle, Stockport. At approximately 7pm, a man opened the door to the car, dragged the woman into some nearby bushes and raped her.
