Charges Over Bryce Murder
Detectives investigating the murder of 27-year-old Nehemiah Bryce, who was fatally shot in Newtown last March, have charged a man with an offence under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The 40-year-old from Kingshurst, Birmingham has been charged with concealing, disguising or storing stolen property.
Police said, in this instance, the property was cars.
He will appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on 12th January, 2010.
At approximately 9.45pm on Sunday 16 March 2008, a number of calls were received by police from addresses in the Rodway Close New Croft area of Newtown, about the sound of gunfire.
Officers attended the area and discovered Mr Bryce, lying in an alleyway just off New Croft, with a number of gunshot wounds.
Paramedics attended this scene and treated Mr Bryce and then took him to City Hospital. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, he died at 10.45pm.
A post mortem revealed he died as a result of gunshot wounds.
The investigation into the murder of Mr Bryce continues and West Midlands Police and the family of Mr Bryce continue to appeal for anyone with any information to contact officers.

Retired Police Inspector And Girlfriend Found Shot Dead
The bodies of a retired police inspector and his girlfriend have been found with gunshot wounds in Devizes. Bill Dowling, a retired police inspector with 30 years' service, and the woman who is yet to be named, where found at Moonrakers estate at around 11:00am on Saturday.

Stewards shot at Kanye West concert
Two stewards have been shot during a concert by US rapper Kaye West at the NEC Arena in Solihull. West Midlands Police said that they were called to the venue around 10pm last night following the shooting of two male security guards at the front entrance to the arena.

British Soldier Killed In Iraq
A British solider has been killed in Iraq, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed. The MoD said that the soldier died as a result of gunshot wounds sustained during a firefight in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The soldier's family have been informed and have asked for privacy.
