Myleene 'Aghast' At Police Warning
Media personality Myleene Klass has been left "bemused" after receiving a police warning for brandishing a knife at garden intruders through a window.
The former Hear'Say singer noticed teenagers entering her garden while she stood in her kitchen.
Ms Klass banged the window to scare them off, while holding a knife.
The gang escaped, leaving the mother-of-one "utterly terrified", a spokesman said.
She was later told by Hertfordshire Police brandishing an "offensive weapon", even in her own property, was illegal.
Ms Klass is now believed to be reviewing security at her Hertfordshire home.
"Myleene was aghast when she was told that the law did not allow her to defend herself at home," her agent Jonathan Shalit told the Sunday Telegraph.
"All she did was scream loudly and wave the knife to try and frighten them off.
"She is not looking to be a vigilante, and has the utmost respect for the law, but when the police explained to her that even if you're at home alone and you have an intruder, you are not allowed to protect yourself, she was bemused."

'Significant Finds' In Jersey Care Home Cellar
Police investigating the discovery of a child's remains in a former care home in Jersey have said that they have made "a couple of finds of some significance" as the search continues. The discovery was made during searches of underground rooms in a cellar at the Haut de la Garenne youth hostel.

Abigail’s attacker held knife to son’s throat
The man who stabbed young mother Abigail Witchalls in the neck first held a knife to the throat of her 21-month-old son Joseph, police said. Mrs Witchalls, who is still in St Georges Hospital in south London, following the attack in Little Bookham, Surrey, last Wednesday, gave her statement to the police yesterday.
