UK Haiti Victim Named
Authorities in Haiti have confirmed that a body pulled from the rubble is that of British woman Ann Barnes.
Ms Barnes, 59, worked for the United Nations in the country's capital Port-au-Prince.
She is believed to have been inside the organisation's headquarters when a massive earthquake struck the region on 12 January.
Several attempts had been made to trace Ms Barnes, who was from Essex.
She is the second confirmed Briton to die in the natural disaster, which has left thousands of Haitians dead and many more homeless.
The Foreign Office confirmed Ms Barnes death today. She was the personal assistant to the UN police commissioner on the island, having worked in Haiti for more than two years.
Her family back in the UK has been informed.
Frederick Wooldridge, 41, from Kent, was also killed in the quake. He had been in the country as a senior political affairs and planning officer.

Britain Boosts Haiti Funding
UK aid to Haiti will be trebled, the government has confirmed. International Development Minister Douglas Alexander said funding would grow from £6.2m ($10m) to £20m ($32m). Money will go towards providing food, shelter, health services and relief work to the country, which was decimated by a 7.0-magnitude earthquake last Tuesday.

Britons advised to leave war-torn Haiti
British nationals have been advised to leave Haiti "if they can do so safely" over fears that rebel forces are preparing to march on the nation's capital. The Foreign Office today revised its travel advice for Haiti to advise Britons to leave the country – it has advising against all travel to Haiti since 13 February.

Surveyors Support Emergency Haiti Mapping
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICs) has sent four team members to Haiti in response to the devastating earthquake that recently struck the country. Supporting NGO MapAction, the specialists are travelling with the UK's urban search and rescue (USAR) specialists provided by regional fire services.
