Appeal Over Strathclyde Murder
Strathclyde Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of Kevin Carroll on 13 January, have renewed their appeal for information.
It is nearly three weeks since 29-year-old Mr Carroll was shot whilst sitting in the rear of an Audi car in the car park of Asda.
Since then, a massive investigation has been ongoing to trace those responsible for his death.
The dark blue Volkswagen Golf, which was used by the suspects, was found mid afternoon on 13 January, a couple of hours after the shooting in Yetts Hole Road, Glenmavis, Airdrie.
It was damaged by fire and the registration plates YF55 EZZ were missing.
The firearms used in the crime were found aon Tuesday 26 January at the rear of Coatbridge Library.
These weapons have been forensically examined and it has been confirmed that they were used in the shooting incident. Further forensic tests are being carried on the weapons.
Detective Chief Inspector Iain Cunningham said: "We have spoken to residents and members of the public in the Glenmavis and Coatbridge areas where the car and weapons were discovered, but I am sure that there are those who may have information and have not yet spoken toofficers.
"I would ask people to think carefully as they may have seen something that could be vital to our investigation."

University gunman was 'disturbed loner'
The gunman who shot dead 32 people at a US college has been described as a loner, whose college work was "disturbing". Cho Seung-Hui, a 23-year-old from South Korea, who had been resident in the US since 1992, was an English student at Virginia Tech who lived on campus.

Getaway car used in da Vinci theft recovered
Police believe they have found the getaway car used by thieves who stole a Leonardo da Vinci masterpiece worth £25 million from a castle in Scotland yesterday. Four men made off with the painting yesterday afternoon after posing as visitors at Drumlanrig Castle in the Highlands.

Man killed and another injured in drive-by shooting
A man has been killed and another injured following a drive-by shooting outside a gym in Hertfordshire. The attack occurred at around 9.30am when the two men were fired upon from a passing Ford Transit van. The pair had been standing outside the Physical Limit Health and Fitness Club in Hoddesdon when they were shot.
