Cannabis Found In Radstock Raid

A two six foot cannabis plant has been seized by officers in Radstock.

The illegal plant was found during a raid on a small drugs factory at a house in Glebelands.

Officers carried out the search after being granted a warrant on Wednesday.

They seized hydroponics equipment and two six foot high cannabis plants, which will be destroyed.

A 30-year-old man was cautioned for cannabis cultivation and possession, a police spokesman said.

Sgt Pat Moore, of Radstock police, added: "This raid shows that drugs will not be tolerated and that we will act quickly when people tell us about drug cultivation and misuse in their community.

"Anyone who has information about suspected cannabis growing or drug dealing should contact us in confidence immediately on 0845 4567000, or call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
