Saville Inquiry Published
Just hours after the lawyers for the families of those killed and injured on Bloody Sunday entered Derry's Guildhall to spend the morning studying Lord Saville's report on the events, a select number of journalists are now getting first sight of the report.
Two journalists from each registered media organisation are at Derry's City Hotel for the hour long 'pre-read' and will be locked in the building with a 60-page summary of the report for exactly one hour.
The lawyers representing the soldiers involved were also this morning able to study the massive document - again on disc - in London.
The shootings were among the most controversial of all the bloody events in the Northern Ireland's decades of conflict.
Thirteen people died in 1972 when British soldiers opened fire on civil rights marchers in Londonderry.
This morning's preview and the Press 'pre-read' come just just ahead of the PM's statement in the House of Commons and full publication at the same time. The Saville Report cost £195m and took 12 years to complete.

Section Of M1 Closed Following Fatal Collision
A section of the northbound carriageway of the M1 between junction 16 and 17 is closed following a fatal road traffic accident. A man died after his car collided with a lorry in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to police. No other details of the victim have been released.

15m motorists drink drive 'the morning after', claims report
The latest research has revealed younger motorists are confused over drink drive limits and that as many as 15 million motorists in the UK are seriously underestimating the time taken to sober up. The research commissioned by insurance group Direct Line revealed that one-in-three motorists drove 'the morning after' whilst over the legal limit.

Report Says Zero-Hours Contracts 'Should Not Be Used'
An interim report has said that "in the majority of cases" zero-hours contracts should not be used at all. In the report, published today, the Scottish Affairs Committee has described the increase in zero-hour contracts as "alarming" and say that the government should be using all the levers at its disposal, including legislation, to change this.
