Newlywed Killed In US Stabbing

A British women who recently married an American man has been stabbed to death, allegedly by her stepson. Tracy Brannan nee Wyatt, 33, who is originally from Glasgow, suffered multiple stab wounds in the attack at the home she shared with her husband, Dr Harold Brannan, 60, in Omaha, Nebraska. Her husband was also injured in the incident, while David Brannan, 21, Dr Brannan's son from his first marriage, is reported to be in a serious condition in hospital after slashing his own throat. He was also reportedly shot by police with Taser guns. It is known when Mrs Brannan moved to the US, but it is understood that she married her husband in May.

Man Dies In Salford Stabbing

A man has died following a stabbing in Salford, Greater Manchester at the weekend. Police were called to a property on Wilbraham Road around 4:35am on Sunday, following reports that a man had been stabbed, and found a 27-year-old man suffering stab wounds to the chest. The man died the ambulance on route to the hospital. A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Teenager Sexually Assaulted In West Lothian

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was seriously sexually assaulted in West Lothian in the early hours of Saturday morning. The 17-year-old was attacked on the B7010 Fauldhouse to Longridge road, about 400 yards east of Lanrigg Road, Fauldhouse, sometime after 1:50am. Police want to speak to anyone who was in the area or who had been at Fauldhouse Cricket Club on Friday evening. The suspect is described as being in his early 20s, between 5ft 10ins - 6ft tall, of medium or athletic build, with a prominent pointed nose. He was wearing a dark-coloured hoody, tracksuit bottoms with twin striped down each leg and he may have been wearing a hat. British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Police Shoot Man Following Stabbing Incident In Hersden
A man has been shot by police after being called to attend an incident in Hersden where a woman was stabbed. Police initially attended the scene at around 11.20pm on Sunday followed by firearms officers and police negotiators. The man and woman, who are members of the same family, are both in a critical condition in hospital.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.

Police stabbing - man arrested
A man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a police officer in Kirkcaldy in Fife. The incident happened around 5pm on Sunday when the officer and a colleague stopped a van from which the driver and passenger were trying to escape.
