Man Found Murdered In Hammersmith
A murder investigation is underway following the death of a man in Hammersmith on Friday.
Police were alerted to a man unconscious in the forecourt area of Sulgrave Gardens in west London at around 7.40pm on Friday 11 March.
The 29-year-old man was found suffering injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe they know his identity but await formal identification.
An incident room has opened at Barnes under DCI Howard Groves from the Metropolitan Police Service, Homicide and Serious Crime Command.
A post-mortem at Fulham Mortuary on 13 March did not establish a formal cause of death. Police are awaiting further results.
DCI Howard Groves said: "There would have been people coming and going at the time of the incident. The area is overlooked by a number flats and I am sure there are people who may have witnessed what happened and I am encouraging those people to contact the incident room."
Police established that there was fight within a lock up off the forecourt area of Sulgrave Gardens, prior to the deceased being found.
Two men were arrested in connection with the inquiry and were taken to separate west London police stations. Both were later bailed to return in May pending further inquiries.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

MoJ Reveal Drone Used In Prison Smuggle Attempt
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has revealed that a drone was used to try and smuggle a package into the grounds of HMP Bedford. An MoJ spokesperson said that the aircraft was "quickly intercepted by vigilant staff" on 06 March.

Police Shoot Man Following Stabbing Incident In Hersden
A man has been shot by police after being called to attend an incident in Hersden where a woman was stabbed. Police initially attended the scene at around 11.20pm on Sunday followed by firearms officers and police negotiators. The man and woman, who are members of the same family, are both in a critical condition in hospital.
