PM Takes The Hot Seat For Questions

Ahead of the elections tomorrow, the Prime Minister’s Questions got underway today.

The session is an opportunity for MPs from all parties to question the Prime Minister on any subject, although they usually focus on the key issues of the day.

The half-hour hot seat, which took place while Parliament was in session, started with a routine question regarding the Prime Minister’s engagements.

David Cameron and Ed Miliband clashed over police cuts and tuition fees, on the last day of campaigning ahead of Thursday's elections.

Other topics on the agenda included; child poverty, stem cell research, council tax and first time buyers.

The Prime Minister also answered questions on the Scottish elections, armed services personnel, forest fires in the UK and the diamond jubliee.
