Teen Dies In London Park Stabbing

A 14-year-old has been stabbed to death in a park in Enfield, north London.

The teenager was found by police at the Ponders End Recreation Ground around 5:30pm on Wednesday.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the boy was dead when he was found and he had suffered a stab wound.

A post-mortem is due to be carried out later.

The youth has not yet been formally identified, but it is understood that his family are being informed.

No-one has been arrested in connection with the case.

A man has been shot by police after being called to attend an incident in Hersden where a woman was stabbed. Police initially attended the scene at around 11.20pm on Sunday followed by firearms officers and police negotiators. Man Charged With Taxi Murder
A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a mother-of-three in a taxi in Birmingham. 22-year-old Natasha Trevis died shortly before 08:00am on Tuesday in the city's Northfield area after being attacked by her male companion in the taxi they were travelling in. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing Of Teen
Police in Liverpool are appealing for information following the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy outside a youth club. The teenager, identified by police as Joseph Lappin, was with two friends when he was attacked by a group of youths outside Shrewsbury House Youth Club, Langrove Street, Everton at 8.40pm on Monday evening.

Third arrest over Sunderland stabbing
A third teenager has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a young father outside his home in Sunderland. Kevin Johnson, 22, was stabbed outside his home in Partick Road in the city, in the early hours of Saturday morning. Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested on Saturday, while an 18-year-old man was arrested on Sunday.
