Abbey Wood Missing Woman Appeal
Police are appealing for help in tracing a 31-year-old woman and her two children aged four and two, missing from Abbey Wood. Christiana Adelaja spoke with her husband on the 29 October at approximately 7.30pm to discuss childcare arrangements. Police said she has not been in touch since and has not been seen. She is described as a Nigerian woman, of slim build and approximately 5' 2" tall. Christiana has connections with the Gillingham area in Kent but there is a possibility that she may be in Manchester as her bank card was last used in that area on the 3 November 2011. Officers and her family are becoming increasingly concerned for Christina and her children's welfare. Anyone who has seen Christiana and her children or knows their whereabouts is urged to contact PC Paul Harding in the Missing Person Unit at Plumstead Police Station on 0208 284 7713 or Plumstead Police Station on 101.
Occupy London Protesters In Empty Bank
Protestors from the Occupy London Stock Exchange movement have announced they have taken over an empty office block in Hackney, east London, belonging to the bank UBS. The deadline passed for protesters camping outside St Paul's Cathedral to leave the area or face court action, on Thursday. But now, an Occupy London spokesman has announced the protest has moved to the empty bank, describing the new move as "public repossession". "As banks repossess families' homes, empty bank property needs to be repossessed by the public," he said.
