Wills And Kate Official Ambassadors Of 2012 Olympics

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will become official ambassadors for Team GB and Paralympics GB during the 2012 Olympics.

They will promote British athletics in the run up to and during the Olympic games 2012 St James’s Palace announced today.

It is likely that the trio will visit the teams in the lead up to the events and also have some involvement in the global competitions.

Prince William said:"Catherine, Harry and I are honoured to be ambassadors for Team GB and ParalympicsGB.

"London hosting the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will inspire so many people - particularly the young - to be the best they can be."
