Man Dies In Road Crash
A man has died after been struck by a car whilst crossing the A726 Queensway in East Kilbride on Saturday 11 February 2012.
Around 6.20Pm hours Euan Murray (18) of Murdoch Road, East Kilbride was crossing the A726 Queensway, approximately 300 metres west of Murray Road when he was struck by a Vauxhall Vectra Car.
Mr Murray was taken to Hairmyres Hospital but died a few hours later.
The 33-year-old driver of the car and his female passenger were not injured. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Constable David Brown from the Divisional Road Policing Unit at Motherwell would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the road crash. He can be contacted on 01698 483000.

16-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Cardiff Hit-And-Run
South Wales Police have appealed for witnesses to a hit-and-run incident in Cardiff that left a 16-year-old with a fractured skull. Boy airlifted to hospital by Coastguard
An eight-month-old baby boy has been airlifted to hospital after suffering severe burns while on a ferry off north-west Scotland. The child was aboard the Stornoway to Ullapool ferry yesterday when he was burned following an accident with a hot cup of tea. The ferry was 20 miles west off the Scottish coast at the time.
