Pub Murder Investigation Launched
Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death outside a pub in Croydon in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Officers were called at 02.00 on Saturday 31 March to reports of a stabbing in Croydon High Street.
London Ambulance Service attended the scene and despite attempts to revive the 25-year-old man, he died at the scene.
Next of kin have been informed. We await formal identification. A post mortem will take place at Croydon Mortuary.
Another man [no age at present] was also found suffering from stab injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody.
Detectives from the Homicide & Serious Crime Command are investigating.

Body Found In Search For Missing Kent Woman
Police investigating the disappearance of a woman in Kent have discovered a body. Officers have been searching for Mariola Cudworth (36), who has been missing since 28 April. It is understood that a body was uncovered on Monday at Dover Road in Eastry. The scene remains sealed off.

A 19-year-old man has today been jailed for life for murdering a promising young footballer in an attack over a girl. Oliver Kingonzila, 19, a Barnet FC footballer who represented England as a youth, was knifed eight times outside a nightclub.

A man has died and several police officers hospitalised after coming into contact with a "noxious substance" on a farm in Guildford, Surrey, according to police. Police were called to Burpham Court Farm in Guildford at around 1am. They discovered the man in his 50s suffering from breathing difficulties.
